Rajasthan Badminton Association is lucky and proud to hold National as well as international Badminton tournaments in Rajasthan and had the privilege of hosting Thomas Cup, Uber Cup, Senior, Junior , Sub junior, Masters National championships., Northern Zone Championships Major national Championships since the inception of Rajasthan Badminton Association. It has been a privilege to see world champions like Rudi Hartano and Mr Lee Chonh Wei, Taufik Hidayat, Erland Cops,Fin Coberra, and also national champions like Nandu Natekar, Suresh Goyal, Meena Shah, Prakash Padukone,Dinesh Khanna,Sayyad Modi, P. Gopichand, Sayana Nehwal etc in action in Rajasthan.
Under the aegis of RBA, Udaipur Badminton Association also had the privilege of holding coaching camp for 21 days for National Badminton team in which Badminton luminaries like Prakash Padukone, Sayyad Modi and first top 25 players (men & women) of the country camped in Udaipur.
RBA always had strong hold in the Badminton Association of India and Late Shri G.K.Sharma was Hony. Secretary of BAI for a number of years and thereafter Late Shri L.C.Gupta was also Hony. Secretary of BAI for number of years.
Thanks to the team work of RBA for cohesively working and making all these tournaments most memorable and successful and also have its say in BAI.
